The vocabulary used by DJ world is totally different for us, we may have a few major music genres in our mind, for me, Jazz, Rock, Folk, R&B, and Classical are the ones popping out of my head. And to Samuel, under the umbrella term Rock, there are over 50 sub-types. If you want to be a DJ, you got learn these nuts and bolts. What is more important, is to know, to read, and to entertain your audience. Sounds familiar fellow Toastmasters?
